Fietsers kunnen hun fiets gratis plaatsen in de overdekte fietsenstalling nabij de hoofdingang van het UZA.
De stalling bevindt zich recht tegenover de hoofdingang, achter apotheek Tilia.
Bicycle and walking routes
You can plan your cycling or walking route to the UZA using tools like Google Maps.
The cycling junctions can also help guide you. Junction 14 is located very close to the UZA. While these junctions may not always provide the shortest route, the paths are bike-friendly and low in traffic.
The municipality of Edegem has a vast network of quiet pathways where you can enjoy walking and cycling to your heart's content.

You can conveniently hire a bike at both Antwerp-Berchem and Antwerp-Central stations. For all the information, visit the Blue Bike website.
Please note that there is no Velo station at the UZA. The nearest station is 340-Dokter Donny, located at Dokter Donnyplein.
- It is approximately 6 km to cycle from Antwerp-Berchem station to the UZA.
- From Antwerp-Central station, it is about 7 km to the UZA.
- From Antwerp-South station, the distance is around 5 km, but Blue Bikes are not available for hire here.
You can plan your cycling route between the station and the UZA using Google Maps or the cycling junctions. Junction 4 is near Antwerp-Berchem station, junction 13 is close to Antwerp-Central station, and junction 14 is located near the UZA.
