Het UZA is gemakkelijk bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer.

Bushalte

  • Take the train to either Antwerpen-Centraal or Antwerpen-Berchem station. You can check the train schedule on the NMBS website.

    From the station, you can continue your journey to the UZA by bike, taxi, or bus.

    From the station, you can reach the UZA by (rental) bike.

    You can also take a taxi from the station to the UZA.

    Alternatively, you can take a bus to the UZA from the station.

    Take one of the following bus lines:

    Bus 17 from Antwerpen-Centraal Station

    This direct bus line will take you to the UZA. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

    Bus 21 from Antwerpen-Berchem Station (with a transfer)

    There is no direct bus from Antwerpen-Berchem Station; you will need to transfer.
    Take bus line 21 to Wilrijk Bist and transfer to bus lines 17, 22, 140, or 141 to reach the UZA. The total travel time is around 35 minutes, but transfers may cause delays.

    Line 22 > Groenplaats – Wilrijk Valaar, Bist – UZA
    Line 35 > Lier - Boeckhout - Hove - Lint - Kontich - UZA
    Line 130 > Lier – Lint - Kontich – Edegem – Wilrijk Universiteitsplein
    Line 135 > Lier – Kontich Scholen – Edegem – Wilrijk Universiteitsplein
    Lines 140 and 141 > Wijnegem – Wommelgem – Borsbeek – Mortsel – Edegem – Wilrijk Universiteitsplein, Bist – Hoboken
    Line 359 > Lier – Kontichse scholen – Edegem – Wilrijk Universiteitsplein
    You can easily transfer to one of these bus lines at the Wilrijk Bist junction.

    Bus stops at the UZA
    There are two stops for line buses at the UZA.

    Facing the entrance of the UZA, you will find:

    Right side: Stops for lines 17 and 22 (Wilrijk Bist and Antwerp)
    Left side: Stops for lines 130, 131, 135, 140, and 141 (Edegem, Mortsel, Wijnegem, Kontich, Lier, Wilrijk, and Hoboken)
